Poll: Why do you think there are so many differences of opinion when it comes to horses?

Some people hate Western and some people hate English, some people don't believe in shoeing and some people do, some people dislike Parelli and some people love it. There are many differences in horsemanship styles, training, and opinions. Out of all the pet owner groups horse owners seem to be more outspoken than most. Why do you speculate that this is? Do you think that we'll ever achieve a near perfect and widely accepted training method for horses and how do you think we can keep from killing each other until that happens?
