Why is radio music so bad and repetitive right now?

Try listening on the Internet, like to San Francisco's KFOG, or if you want something unusual sometimes, KPIG out of Freedom, California, or try College radio stations in your area maybe, or switch around to see what else is out there. Some stations try repeating programs, like literally just playing recordings of shows hours long...boring...but some still have real live people picking the music and responding to requests. And call in to say what you think if you don't like what a station is doing...they just might listen to you.
