Spreading Publicity for my singing?

I've tried with a youtube and I got some positive feedback, but I also got comments via people who said an anon on omegle was telling people to dislike me. So I deleted my video ._. Other than a hit to my confidence, Idk if I should keep pursuing or take another route. Should I try youtube again and just ignore the hate? Is there anyway to spread word of my singing(without talking to friends)? I don't wanna bring my friends into this atm because most of them don't understand "jpop" etc. Any ideas would be appreciated >.<
