Why is she freaking out?

I was involved with this girl. she lives in a different state and i just got over a bad break up becuz i felt tied down.. so i didn't ask this new girl out. then i was innocently flirting with another girl from Australia- obviously nothing was going to happen. but now the first girl is all mad and wont talk to me. i dont understand why shes so mad, we werent dating.
