Information on I95 from Philly to Nags Head, N.C.?

Taking a little trip to Nags Head, NC next week, planning to take I 95 all the way down. Has anyone made this trip recently? Any suggestions or advice? I know there are alternate routes around Baltimore and D.C., Whats the best route?
